Advising and Course Enrollment

Admission to the CCC, ACT or Accuplacer test scores and/or prior college transcript review are required prior to advising and enrollment. Students may enroll by scheduling an advising appointment with the academic advisor and program coordinator Tinea Ortega, M.Ed.  To schedule an advising appointment, contact the CCC at 573-332-0516.

Late policy: If a student arrives 10 minutes (or more) late for their advising appointment they will be asked to reschedule their appointment. This policy prevents us from having a rushed advising meeting and is in line with professional etiquette. Please call the office at (573) 332-0516 to reschedule your appointment in the event you are late or cannot make your scheduled meeting time.

Before your first advising appointment, please review the CCC New Student Orientation presentation.

Textbook Services

The CCC offers textbook rental for most courses. The textbook rental rate is $25.94 per course. Some courses will also charge a nominal fee for lab and other material costs. Required books may be picked up at the CCC. We do not take payments for books at the CCC; book costs will be billed at a later date.

Renting books from the CCC could help you save hundreds of dollars each semester.
Benefits include scholarships, employment programs, and educational assistance.
